Our School

Nestled between Greenwich Park and the River Thames, Meridian Primary School has been serving the local community in East Greenwich since 1888.

We take our name from the Meridian Line which runs through our playground and school buildings.

Meridian is a community Primary School with a Nursery and a Designated Special Provision (DSP) for deaf children.  

Deaf and other children with special needs learn alongside their hearing peers. It is a one form entry school with up to 30 pupils joining and leaving us each year.  

Our school population also reflects the cultural and social diversity of the borough of Greenwich. The result is a broad community where children from a variety of backgrounds are encouraged to learn and grow alongside each other.
